Obituary of Alexander {Alex} Chubak

Alex Chubak 1926-2017 Alexander (Alex) Chuback was born on November 12, 1926 at Alvena, Saskatchewan and passed away September 9, 2017 at Shellbrook, Saskatchewan he was 90 years of age. Alex is lovingly remembered by: his sister, Tina Shkuratoff of Calgary, AB and also an abundance of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Theresa Chubak, his siblings and their spouses, Olga (Ron) Nielsen, Nick (Leona) Chubak, Francis (Julius) Jaster, Leon Chubak, Stanley (Sheila) Chubak and his brother-in-law, Fred Shkuratoff. Graveside Funeral Services were held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in the Shell Lake Cemetery at 11:00 am. with Delores Beaulac officiating. The hymns: In The Garden and Just a Closer Walk With Thee were sung by soloist Patty Heisler. All those who shared in Alex’s life were considered Honorary Pallbearers. Alex’s final resting place is in the Shell Lake Cemetery. Immediately following the services, all were invited to a time for lunch and fellowship in the Partners and Worship Church Hall. Memorial Donations may be made to a Charity of one’s Choice in memory of Alex Chubak as tokens of remembrance.
