Obituary of Rick Young

Rick Young 1967 -2017 On September 20th, 2017, Rick passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK. Rick was born on May 4th, 1967 to Shirley and William Young. He was faithfully employed at Lakeland Ford for 30 years as Ford vehicles were his passion. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs Fan. Rick’s love of Ford and the Toronto Maple Leafs made him “bleed blue”. His favourite pastime backyard bonfires with family and friends, if he could have one every day, he would. Rick will be lovingly remembered by his son Billy; his daughter Kirstie and her children London, Damon, Silas, and a little one on the way; the love of his life, Shauna Shier; her daughter Breanne and her children, Kaleah and Annalise; daughter Makayla and son Brayden; and son Shawn who is also expecting a little one; his mother Shirley Young; his siblings Terry, Marilyn and Marlene; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Rick was predeceased by his grandparents and his father, William. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
