Obituary of Mervin William Bird

Mervin William Bird November 19, 1954 - October 27, 2017 With great sadness the family of Mervin Bird announce that he passed away in the morning of October 27, 2017 with his family by his side. Mervin was born on November 19, 1954 to James and Laura (nee:Wolfe) Bird at Shellbrook, SK. He worked much of his life as a heavy equipment operator. The wake service for Mervin began at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Mistawasis Family Centre. The funeral service for Mervin will commence at 2:00PM on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Mistawasis Family Centre with Pastor Kathy Bretzlaff officiating. Interment will follow at the Mistawasis Presbyterian Cemetery. Mervin is lovingly remembered by his wife, Darlene (nee: Morissette) Bird; his children, Kevin Bird, Gilbert Bird, Michelle Bird and Roxanne Bird as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
