Billie-Anne Courchene 1977-2017 On November 15, 2017, Billie-Anne Courchene late of Ahtahkakoop First Nation passed away suddenly at the age of 39 years. Billie-Anne was born on December 6, 1977 in Manitoba to Denise Courchene and William Ahenakew. The Memorial Service for Billie-Anne took place on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from the St. Mark's Anglican Church on Ahtahkakoop First Nation. Interment was in the St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery following the service. Billie-Anne is lovingly survived by her children, Landon Genereaux, Haylee Courchene, Nicholas Courchene, Grace McAdam, Gregory Jr. Littlecrow, Gemma Littlecrow; her granddaughter Lyric Rose McCallum; her parents, William (Colleen) Ahenakew, Denise Courchene; her brothers, Sean, Adam, and Garrett Ahenakew; and her partner Gregory Littlecrow. Billie-Anne was predeceased by, her grandparents, Lancelot and Grace Ahenakew; and her son Gray-Wolf Lancelot Littlecrow. Bishop Halkett officiated the service, and eulogy was done by Dianne Ahenakew-Boyer.
