Obituary of Dorreen Bernadette Lukowich

Dorreen Bernadette Lukowich (nee, Ellis) 1935-2017 Dorreen was born to Mark and Aida Ellis in York, England, and came to Canada in 1952 with her husband Kenneth Angus who remustered from RAF to the RCAF. Dorreen and Ken initially resided in Ontario, Canada subsequently transferring to Germany, Italy, and England before returning to Canada. Together they had 5 sons Kevin, Wayne, Yale, Kirk, and Ross and one daughter Jackie. Dorreen met and married Chester Lukowich in Prince Albert SK on Dec. 16, 2000, where she remained until her passing. Dorreen is survived by her husband Chester of Prince Albert; his 2 daughters, Lonnie of Candle Lake, and Arlene of Prince Albert; her sister Elsie of York, England; sons Wayne of Moose Jaw, Yale of Tuxford, Kirk of Saskatoon, Ross of Winnipeg; and daughter Jackie of Saskatoon; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 5 great- great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Dorreen was predeceased by her parents Mark and Aida Ellis; brothers George, Raymond and Brian; sisters Joan, Sylvia, and Vera; husband Ken; son Kevin; daughter in law Charlene; grandson Kevin and granddaughter Jodi. Anyone who knew Dorreen will remember her infectious laughter, sense of humour and her passion for caring for others less fortunate. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at St. Mark Roman Catholic Parish 589 9th Street East with Father Jim Kaptein officiating.
