Obituary of Lee Larry Hoffman
Lee Larry Hoffman
Lee was born in Spiritwood, SK on January 17, 1980. His short life of 38 years ended suddenly with his passing at the family farm in Leoville, SK on March 15, 2018. He has been laid to rest at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Timberland.
He spent his first 12 years on the farm in Timberland, after which he moved to town with his mom and brothers. He attended Leoville Central School from K-12 and graduated in 1998. He went on to further his education at SIAST in Saskatoon where he achieved his welding certificate. He met the woman he was to spend the rest of his life with in 2004 and married her on September 1, 2007.
Starting out Lee worked various jobs, which included the Vern Booker Shop. He was employed with Prairie Mountain Oilfield Construction for the past 18 years. He spent precious time away from his family in order to provide for them the best life he could.
From the time he was born, Lee was a farmer. He worked hard and was always trying to make improvements. He loved his cattle and was working to build a herd that he could be proud of.
Lee was extremely mechanically inclined. If he didn’t know how to fix something, he would figure out a way. He willingly shared his time, knowledge, and a helping hand to his family, friends, and neighbors. If you couldn’t find him, all you had to do was check the local coffee shop.
Lee loved his wife, and he especially loved getting a rise out of her. Lee felt privileged to be the father of three children. He attended as much of their activities as he could. He made time for them and he taught them many lessons and skills that they will be able to draw upon in their own lives. Most importantly, they knew they were loved.
It is impossible to sum up the vastness and genuineness of this man’s character in a few short paragraphs. He enjoyed enjoying life, and he wanted those around him to do the same. A kind man, and gentle soul, that was always wearing a smile.
Lee will be fondly remembered by anyone that had had the pleasure of meeting him. He will forever be cherished in the hearts of his wife, Jennifer Lynne (Toth), his three children; Kaylynne, Kegan, and Kasie, and his cat, Hobo.
Thank you to everyone who has brought by meals, baking and condolences to the family.
