Obituary of George Roger Ledoux

George Roger Ledoux 1940 - 2018 On April 16, 2018, George Roger Ledoux, late of Muskeg Lake Cree Nation passed at the age of 78 years. George was born on March 27, 1940 on Mistawasis First Nation to Isidore and Philomene Ledoux. George leaves to mourn: his children, Shirley (Jarvis) Raine, Sherry (Jesse) Beaverbones, Richard (Melvina) Beaverbones and Mitchell Beaverbones; mother of his children, Beecee Beaverbones; his sisters, Mary Fiddler, Rose Bartley and Madeline Ross; his grandchildren, Shantel (Tyson) Raine, Ryan Raine, Bradley Raine, Michelle (Jemery) Strawberry, Dwight (Ashley) Raine, Tashina Raine, Celina (Kelly) Raine, Aaron Beaverbones, Johnathon Beaverbones, Karleen Beaverbones, Kayla Beaverbones, Chantelle (Daniel) Mackinaw, Alex Beaverbones, Trisha Mackinaw and Alandra Mackinaw as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is predeceased by: his parents, Philomene and Isadore Ledoux; his sister, Agnes Mackay; his brothers, Leo Ledoux, Roland Ledoux, Karl Ledoux and Phillip Lafontaine aznd his common-law, Alvina Aubicion. The Wake Services for George commenced at 4:00 p.m. from the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation School Gym with the Funeral Mass taking place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018. Interment will take place in the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Chief Kelly Wolfe, Jason Longneck, Bruce Sanderson, Duane Lafond, Keith Arcand and Ricky Longneck. Honorary pallbearers were elders of Muskeg Lake Cree Nation and everyone who touched his heart.
