Obituary of Lorne Michael Walter

Lorne Michael Walter passed away on July 9, 2018 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 27 years. Lorne was born in Saskatoon, SK on September 8, 1990 to Pam and Lyle Walter. He attended Confederation Park and Pleasant Hill Elementary Schools in Saskatoon, and completed his high school education at Bedford Road Collegiate. Lorne enjoyed many hobbies including working on cars, fishing, and computers. He was a “jack of all trades”, professional gamer and was known to be a real prankster! Lorne will be lovingly remembered by: his common-law wife: Samantha Mills; his mother: Pam Walter; his father: Lyle (Yvonne Hood) Walter; his grandmother: Aline Gatzke; his siblings: Rochelle (Waylon) Smallchild, William Sawitsky, Gabriel Sawitsky, Cierra Hood, Jeremy Walter and Michael Walter; his nieces and nephews: Chayce Griffin, Rae-Lynn Gatzke, Marius Smallchild, Syria Smallchild, Azura Smallchild and Azrael Smallchild; his in-laws: Elsie & Dale Mills; Wayne and Bayle Mills; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Lorne was predeceased by: his great-grandparents: Alma & Albert Gatzke; grandparents: George Lacerte, Audrey Wiebe and Lorne Walter; and his niece: Namira Smallchild. A Private Family Service will be held. Memorial donations in Lorne’s name may be made to Canadian Mental Health, 1322 Central Avenue, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 4W3.
