This was very shocking news for us. We would like to offer our deepest condolences to "Bookies" large and extended family and also send a special one for Kelsey who babysat my kids all those years ago in Shellbrook. I was always happy to see Bookie whether it was at the golf course, the hockey rink, at the 50 Man, or anywhere I bumped into him. He was one of the nicest people I met in my 30 years spent here in Saskatchewan, nine of which were while I was stationed in my favourite place, Shellbrook. I will surely miss joking around and catching up with Bookie. He always had a smile on his face whenever we met even on the ice!
