Ed, Sharon, Darcy and family, This is a great shock! It must be so difficult for you at this time! I am so very sorry to hear of Dougs' passing. I worked with him during his short time at Parkland Ambulance. He was a very loving and giving person. Our world is a little darker now, and one more bright shining star has been added to the heavens.

Condolences to Doug’s parents, family, friends, and to Holly and her family. I’m a fellow student of Doug’s and so I didnt know him well. He was so genuine and kind, and always wore that big smile. He encouraged me to continue with classes when I didn’t want/think I could be there. With the support and promise we made to help each other to be successful counsellors, I know he’ll still be cheering me on and he’ll walk along side our class when graduation comes. Please accept our most sincere condolences. I remember Doug as a fun loving, lust for life kind of person. His sarcastic whit in high school was always brought laughter to any room. We crossed paths a few times through our days and I looked forward to the times we would catch up.
