Obituary of Ashley Dawn Ebach

It is with the deepest sorrow that the family of Ashley Dawn Ebach announces her passing on July 25, 2008 at the young age of 19 years. Ashley was born June 16, 1989 in North Battleford to Roxanne Ledinski and Bruce Ebach and older brother Derek. She spent most of her younger years in North Battleford. In grade four the family moved to Medicine Hat, AB where she continued her elementary education. Grade seven was then completed in Devon, AB. Ashley moved to Spiritwood to join the grade eight class in 2003 where she graduated on June 27, 2008. Ashley was a loving girl who was friends with everyone, always wanting a hug and kiss no matter where you were. She was a responsible girl, working at Subway or the Spiritwood Confectionary where she became well known in the community. She always greeted everyone with a big smile and a polite hello. Ashley loved to listen to her music, sing and draw. Her passion for drawing was very apparent in her beautiful creations. Ashley could sketch anything from people to animals to scenery. Her other passion was her friends. Ashley was always surrounded by her closest friends; they were always on their way to a social gathering, a movie or just for an ice cream. Ashley was an amazing girl, loyal friend and will be missed forever. Ashley is lovingly remembered by her loving mother Roxanne Ledinski of Spiritwood, SK, her loving father Bruce (Mary-Lin) Ebach of Edmonton, AB, her brother Derek Ebach of Edmonton, AB, her stepbrothers and stepsister Chris, Tyler, Daniel and Karla Hendry all of Edmonton, AB, her special niece Ehva Brynn Scott of Saskatoon, SK, her grandparents Ralph and Jean Ledinski of Medstead, SK, her grandmother Hazel Peterson of North Battleford, SK, her special friend Kiefer Kitching of Crescent Beach, SK and his family Kent, Karen and Tucker, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfather Ernest Peterson, her grandfather Frank Ebach, her uncle Pete Gardiner, her uncle Larry Ebach and her close childhood friend Deanna Yaremko. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Spiritwood Civic Center with Pastor Leigh Sinclair officiating. The eulogy was read by Jeanie Olson and special music was performed by Ashley's friends Justin & Kristin Cote and Jan Anderson. An honor guard was formed by dear friends of Ashley's and the slide show was by Teri Peterson. Honorary pall bearers were Travis Ebach, Curtis Ebach, Ron Vorachek, Chuck Fineday and Claude St. Germaine as well as all relatives and friends who shared in Ashley's life. Active pall bearers were Darcy Sjuberg, Justin Cote, Cole Cote, Ron Gerlinski, Daniel Peterson and Tyler Colley. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ashley Ledinski-Ebach Memorial Rehab Fund at the Spiritwood Credit Union. This fund is to help with the renovation costs to make her dear friend, Melissa Belanger's home wheelchair accessible after she was paralyzed in a car accident. Ashley was laid to rest in the Spiritwood Cemetery.
