Obituary of Harvey Wilson McClean

Harvey Wilson McClean was born in a log house November 4, 1932, southwest of Robinhood, SK and passed away May 28, 2019, Shell Lake, SK at the age of 86 years with his wife Kay by his side. Harvey is lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Kathleen of Shell Lake, SK, his children: Ron (Susan) of North Battleford, SK, David (Charlene) of Kenaston, SK and family: Chris (Annick); Tracey (Stephanie); Chantel (Eric) Katelyn; Jadelyn, Faye (Kevin) of Vanscoy, SK and family: Marsha (Chad); Jason (Christina); Brandi (Troy); Shari (Cliff), Marion (Al) of Shell Lake, SK and family: Jared (Angela); Jamie (Tanya), Bernie (Cara) of Glaslyn, SK and family: Keagan (Brad); Ayden; Rylan, Wayne`s family: Trina (Steve); Candace (Steve); Kristen (Kevin); Derrick, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, his sisters, Viola Moen and Margaret Licence and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was Predeceased: his son, Wayne (2009), his grandsons, Ryan and Stacey, his brothers, Les, Ed, Lawrence, and Delmar, his sisters, Lorraine and Dorothy. The Funeral Service was held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Medstead Community Hall, Medstead, SK with Pastor David Jensen officiating. The eulogy was given by Granddaughters, Marsha Lemon & Kristen Nguyen, Honorary Pallbearers are considered “All who knew and loved Harvey”, Urn Bearers were Granddaughter, Keagan Fast and Grandsons, Ayden & Rylan McClean. Harvey’s final resting place is in the Robinhood Municipal Cemetery, following the interment all present were invited back to the Medstead Community Hall for lunch and a time of fellowship. Harvey attended school near Robinhood, SK. He married the love of his life Kathleen Mary Cline in 1954, he farmed near Robinhood all his life, he was also a handyman doing carpentry, mechanics, autobody and roofing work when needed. In his spare time he loved hunting and fishing. Memorial Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society in Memory of Harvey McClean as tokens of remembrance.
