Obituary of Terry Bogner

On Thursday August 7, 2008 Terrance (Terry) Allan Bogner was taken suddenly and unexpectedly in a work related incident north of his residence in Big River, SK. He was 52 years of age. Terry was born July 30, 1956 in Prince Albert, SK to John and Victoria. Terry grew up on a farm near Big River with his siblings Valerie, Rosemary, Ted, Vernon and Lynn. At the age of 17 Terry met the love of his life, Shannon and they were married August 1, 1981. They were blessed with two daughters Jessi (Jamie) and Chelsey (Brad). Terry had many interests including snowmobiling, quading and boating. Terry pretty much liked anything as long as he was with his family and many special friends. Terry is survived by his wife Shannon; daughters Jessi (Jamie) Pearson and their children Brooklyn and Tatum of Langham; Chelsey (Brad) Buckingham of Cold Lake, AB; sisters Val (Dale) McCallum of Sylvan Lake, AB, Rosemary (Gerald) LaPlante of Big River, Lynn (Ken) Lomsnes of Big River; brothers Ted (Wanda) Bogner of Big River, Vernon (Maxine) Bogner of Duck Lake; Mother and father in-law Yvonne and Ted McKenzie of Big River, sister in-law Crystal (Rick) Reimer of Big River, brother in-laws Trent (Linda) McKenzie of Big River, Doug (Lydia) McKenzie of Big River, Kirby McKenzie of Big River and Joel (Cara) McKenzie of Big River as well as numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father John, grandparents John and Theresa Bogner and Narcisse and Rose Mirasty. A Celebration of Life was held on Wednesday, August 13th, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the Big River Community Center with Delores Beaulac as the officiant. The eulogy was read by Ken Lomsnes and the urn bearer was Shannon Bogner. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Big River Community Center.
