Obituary of Elijah Kyrell Masuskapoe

Elijah Kyrell Masuskapoe April2, 2019 - September 8, 2019 With deep sadness the family of Elijah Masuskapoe announces that he passed away suddenly on September 8, 2019 at age 5 months. He was born on April 2, 2019 to Samantha Masuskapoe and Richard Bear. The wake service for Elijah commenced at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall. The funeral service started at 2:00PM on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the same location with Alex Sasakamoose officiating. Interment followed in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery. Music was provided by Ahtahkakoop choir. His mother, Samantha gave the eulogy. The pallbearers were Christian-Lee Masuskapoe, Keanu Bird, Linden Bird and Jayden Bear. Honorary pallbearers were all who knew and loved Elijah. Elijah is lovingly remembered by: his parents, Samantha Masuskapoe and Richard Bear; his brothers, Exzavior and Evan K. Masukapoe, Shane Jordan, Aaron, Robert, Joshua, Jayden, Melvin and Ron Bear; his sisters, Shaylene, Durell, Megan, Tory, Rickie, Janice and Susan Bear; his grandparents, Glenda Bird and Samson (Tanya) Masuskapoe; his great grandparents, June and Frank Masuskapoe and Dorothy and Glen Bird; his uncle, Jairus Bird; his aunt, Tamieka Bird as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He is predeceased by: his grandparents, Eldon Bird and Viola and Richard Bear; his uncle, Tyrell Bird; his chapans, Cecelia Masuskapoe and George Masuskapoe; his brother, Mario Bear and his sister, Chantell Bear.
