Obituary of Walter Noble

NOBLE- Walter George Noble, late of Prince Albert, SK. passed away in Victoria Union Hospital in Prince Albert, SK. on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the age of 62 years. Walter was born in Spiritwood, SK. on April 21, 1946 to Hilliard and Dorothy Noble. He grew up and lived most of his life in the Prince Albert area. Walter went to school in Mildred and then the family moved to Shellbrook following an accident in which Walter became a paraplegic. Although Walter was confined to a wheelchair, he lived his life by knowing that Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from indomitable will. In his life journey, through all his trials and tribulations, Walter was always caring and compassionate, spending his life helping others, never expecting anything in return. This, as well as his warm smile, friendly personality, and great sense of humor earned him the love and respect of many friends, acquaintances, and his family. Walter leaves to cherish his memory, his three brothers and two sisters, Carolyn (Dave) Guhl of Alliance, AB., Tom (Alice) Noble of Redwater, AB., Betty McGilles of Whonnock, BC, Jim Noble of Vancouver, BC., and Rick (Florence) Noble of Calgary, AB., two aunts, Ethel Burrows of Shell Lake, SK. and Renee Doonan of Tumbler Ridge, BC., a step-daughter, Debbie Klassen of Holbein, SK. and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Walter was predeceased by; his parents, Hilliard and Dorothy (nee: Anderson) Noble, his grandparents, Tom & Ida Noble and Molan & Virginia Anderson. The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Royal Canadian Legion Hall at 133 8th St. East in Prince Albert, SK. with Mr. Victor Lavallee as officiant. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society or to the Canadian Paraplegic Association. Interment of cremated remains followed at Hawkeye Cemetery on Saturday, September 6, 2008.
