Obituary of Jackie Geoffrey Johnstone

Jackie Geoffrey Johnstone January 10, 1960 - November 1, 2019 With sadness and fond memories the family of Jackie Johnstone announces that he passed away at home after a lengthy illness. Jackie was born to Norman and Laura (nee: Ouellette) Johnstone on January 10, 1960. He learned the plumbing and heating made at a young age and eventually had his on plumbing business, Snake Plain Plumbing and Heating. Jackie also enjoyed raising and looking after his herd of cattle. He is missed by his family and all who knew him. Jackie is lovingly remembered by: his wife, Deanne Johnstone; his children, Jamie Ledoux and children, Ethan and Selena, Megan Johnston and children, Kaydence and Katie, Damian Ledoux and children, Madison, Jaida, Saddie, Dmian Jr. and Emma, Blaine Johnstone and children, Jencen and Lynaya, his daughter-in-law, Shaylis Johnstone (Blondie); Jackie Grace Johnstone (Muhwa) and Keanna Marie Johnston; his siblings,Doreen Mike of Beardy's FN, Pat (Marion)Johnstone of Mistawasis FN, Darlene Ledoux of Leask, SK, Tom Johnstone of Mistawasis FN, Sharon (Melvin) Watson of Mistawasis FN and Gwen Roberts of Saskatoon, SK; his mother-in-law, Linda Johnston; his sister-in-law, Leanne (Darryl) Morissette; his brothers-in-law, Marvin (Raylene) Kyra and Jayden, Wayne Johnston (Huggy) and Travis Molenkamp as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by: his parents, Norman and Laura "Kuku" Johnstone; his son, Bruce Ledoux; his brothers Leonard andBill Johnstone; his father-in-law, Irvin Johnstone; his brothers-in-law Jake Mike and Wilfred Ledoux and his sister-in-law, Pauline Johnstone. The wake service for Jackie began at 7:30 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Mistawasis School Gymnasium. The funeral service commenced at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 4, 2019 in the same location with Fr. Phoing Tran officiating. Interment will follow in the Mistawasis Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Active pallbearers were Paul Ledoux, Clinton Johnstone, Wade Watson, Dwayne Mike, Darryl Morissette, Blake Bird, Shane Watson and Brian Johnstone.
