Obituary of Violet May Peel

Violet May Peel July 6, 1920 - November 30, 2019 Violet May Peel at the age of 99 passed away peacefully at the Spiritwood Nursing Home on November 30, 2019. Violet was born in Kamsack Saskatchewan and was the daughter of Calvin and Annie Dixon. During her school years she met her future husband Bryan Peel who passed away in August of 1985 at the age of 66. She was a loving and caring mother dedicated to her husband and children in all aspects of their lives. Violet is survived by one brother Alfred Morris Dixon of Nanaimo BC, a daughter Colleen and husband Terry Robertson of Gold River BC and three sons, Barry and wife Bev of Stony Rapids Saskatchewan, Terry of Cold Lake Alberta, Kevin and wife Agatha of Cold Lake Alberta. She is also survived and dearly loved by four grandchildren and five great grand children, Barry Robertson and his two sons (Ray and Joe) of Sapporo Japan, Alyssa and Cameron Melnyk and their two sons (Gabriel and Leo) of Vancouver BC, Kyla and Foster Weisgerber and two daughters (Emma and Megan) of Regina Saskatchewan, Bryan and Jayme Peel and their daughter (Violet) of Indian Head Saskatchewan. A private family service will be held at a date yet to be determined where Violet will be laid to rest along side her husband on Vancouver Island. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
