Obituary of Gordon Ingram

It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Ingram announce his passing on November 12, 2008, in the Shellbrook Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Gordon was born on January 17, 1929 in Shellbrook,Sk to Thomas and Celia Ingram. All that knew him will miss his shy personality and his wry sense of humor. His presence will be missed at the Monday night poker games and senior golf. Gordon is survived by his loving wife Jeannette, his son Brent(Joni)and their four sons, Bryce, Mark, Keeran, and Connor; his sisters, Betty Park and Shirley Puddicombe; his brother Ken (Evelyn)Ingram; brother-in-law Harvey (Esther) Wendel; sister-in-laws Loretta Ingram and Phyllis Hine; and numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Celia Ingram, his brothers Marvin and Ted Ingram, and his brother-in-laws,Clark Puddicombe and Harvey Park. The Funeral Service for the late Gordon Ingram took place on Monday, Nov. 17,2008 in the St.Andrews Anglican Church in Shellbrook,Sk. Reverend David Smith was officiant,Jo-Anne Perkins was the organist. The Honorary Pallbearers were: Earl Weber, Ed Sokolowski, Wilbur Grayston, Wes Ledding, George Harrison, Emmit Cooper, and Paul Skopyk. The Active Pallbearers were: Kerry Wendel, Kevin Wendel, Doug Park, Don Park, Rick Hine and Troy Ingram.The Interment was in the Shellbrook Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Shellbrook & Districts Health Services Project.
