I was deeply saddened to happen across this news on the internet. I have such fond and lasting memories of Olive, (and family). She always took such care and interest in people that you couldn't help but feel warm and fuzzy to be around her. She was a very giving teacher - I remember her lessons from when I was just little. I try to be patient and overwhelmingly positive in life - just like she was with me - regardless of whatever struggle she might have felt, she always made mine disappear. Olive and Family - you will always be the gold star standard example of an amazing neighbor. While I share your sense of loss, I hope you know how proud of you all she always was.
Take good care of each other. Olive would expect no less.
-Just a young boy from down the road, (who now has children of his own). I think of Olive and Keith often. To me, they were proof that friendship knows no bounds of age.
