Dear Darlene and Wendy,
I'm so very sorry to hear Richard has passed away. He was always a person with the warmest heart, the most gentle smile that was wide and welcoming and he gave the best hugs! His sense of humour and quick wit will always bring a smile to my face when I think of Richard. Even when we met in Saskatoon, both of us there for treatment, his laugh was such a balm given what we were facing. His joy was infectious and exactly what I needed that day. He knew! And now we wait to see him again in a time where none of us will ever say again, "I am sick." Until then my thoughts and prayers are with you during this very sad time. Richard will be missed by so many who knew and loved him.
