My memory of Murray is from 1971 when we both worked for Agnew Motors, always happy & easy to get along with, lots of laughs! Murray certainly had a zest for life! So sorry for your loss!

Sorry to learn of Murray’s passing. My condolences to the Jacobs and Provencher families. I remember Murray driving a big black Mercury Meteor that had previously belonged to my grandfather. I think it is safe to say Murray had more fun with that car than my grandfather!

Yvette and family, I am so sorry for your loss. My memories of Murray are from his younger days but from his obituary it's clear his character in his later years was unchanged. I played fastball for several years with Murray and I particularly remember 1973 when he and I played with the PA Blues in the Prince Albert Senior Mens Fastball league. He was a great teammate and had a terrific sense of humor. Murray always played hard but more importantly was always a good sportsman.

So sorry to hear of Cousin Murray's early passing. I will always remember him as the "mature" cousin as Marlene and I ran around on the golf course collecting wayward balls and searching through the booths after the Sports Day, scavenging for forgotten quarters! He was always so kind and patient with the "brats"! Like the song says..."Only the good die young", right? I'll always remember that smile! Condolences to Yvette and all my cousins. It is with a heavy heart that I read about the passing of Murray. It brings back so clearly our frequent visits to Shellbrook from PA and the Sunday family dinners at Uncle Ernie and Aunt Inez’s or at Uncle Alf and Aunt Annie’s and the play time with cousins Morna, Gail and Patsy, Loretta and Murray.
