Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Linda, Corey and the entire family. Mr. Parenteau was one of our basketball coaches at St. Michaels. I think that was about the 2nd year after the new school opened. He got us all new uniforms I'm sure some of us players still have those today as souvenirs. We had a great team the one year for sure, and a great coach in Mr. Parenteau. He was proud of us and we liked playing for him. I'm sure I'm not alone in my good memories of those years. Please accept an online hug from all of us.
Sincerely
Andy Dubourt and Family.

Dear Kristin, Linda, Corey, and family,
Curt and I are very sorry to hear about Phil's passing. I feel very honored to have met and known Phil. When Kristin and I went to Suntep together, Phil was always so supportive and encouraging - he helped motivate and keep the both of us going by sharing with us stories of his own teaching experience. Every time I make "surprise dip" or "asian salad" I am reminded of all the times spent in the Parenteau kitchen with Kristin and/or Kristin and Phil and/or Kristin, Phil, and Linda, learning how to master these two recipes! (I never ate so much surprise dip as I did during those first two years going to Suntep - lol) Thanks Phil and Linda for always making your home so warm and welcoming! Kristin, I know your dad meant the world to you. Please know we are sending you lots of love during this very difficult time and accept our deepest sympathies.
Love, Heather, Curt, Griffen, and Maryn

Dear Linda and family,
It is with much sadness I send condolences in hearing of Phil’s passing. He was a kind and uncomplicated man who profoundly loved his family. He was dedicated to working with kids and believed in treating people with kindness and respect. I will fondly remember Phil when he subbed at St. Mary or chatting with him at the Coop.
Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Noreen Pearson

I would like to give my sincere condolences to Phil’s entire family. I had the pleasure of working side by side with Phil for many years At St. Mikes. What stands out the most is how Phil put the kids first; anything to help the kids. That is one of the reasons the breakfast program at st mikes school was so dear to him. Many mornings Phil was serving breakfast To the students. If he could have cooked them a hot breakfast, he definitely would have. Phil will be missed by so many.

Aww it’s so sad to hear about Mr. Parenteau. He taught me in Grade 6 and he was a good teacher as he was excited about teaching (especially social studies lol) and he made learning fun. I’m super grateful of when him and his wife Linda drove my little brother Andrew to and from school for a whole year! Mr. P had a heart of gold

It is with such sadness to hear of Phil's passing!
Loved working with Phil. He was so positive and showed such compassion to the kids that needed it most. Ah, the hours we spent discussing recipes and family. And he sure loved his Linda!
He enjoyed his career and the students certainly appreciated him.
I can still hear his jokes and that infectious laugh!
Our condolences, thoughts and prayers to you. May God hold you close .
