Obituary of Brandon Terry Segberg

Brandon Terry Segberg It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brandon Terry Segberg on August 23, 2020. Brandon was the beloved son of Terry and Arlette Segberg, brother to Jory and Kelsey Segberg and Uncle to Maddox and Hollis Segberg. Brandon was born on September 18, 1992 and lived in the Cameo/Hilldrop and attended school in Shellbrook. Brandon had a great love for working outside and driving anything with a motor. He loved to quad, snowmobile and drive all sorts of farm equipment. At a very early age Brandon’s work ethic was very strong. He began working at Hannigan’s Honey at age 13 as a part time job while he “tolerated” going to school. He worked for a number of years at Triple S Transport where he was able to develop his mechanical and welding skills and finally at Ledding Farms where he got to experience his true passion of farming. He put many hours in during harvest gladly missing out on any social activities that other teenagers were doing so he could be out in the field working with the crew. Sadly, on January 11, 2009 at age 16, Brandon was involved in a snowmobile accident that left him with a very severe brain injury. He spent his remaining years living in Parkland Integrated Long Term Care Facility. Brandon’s health deteriorated over the last number of months and on Aug 23 his long struggle was over and he joined his grandparents and Aunt Lynda where we know he will once again be able to spend his time outside doing what he loves. Brandon is survived by his dad Terry, his mom Arlette; his brother Jory and sister in law Kelsey along with a wonderful nephew Maddox and beautiful niece Hollis; He is also survived by his Grandmother, Elaine Perkins; his Aunt Elaine (Jim) Brunton and their children Barb (Mike), Larry (Shona) and their families; his Uncle Dennis Segberg (Johanna) and their children Dean (Delee), Don (Jessica) and their families; His Aunt Elaine Brunton (Jim) and their children Barb (Mike) Larry (Shona) and their families. His Uncle Marvin Moberg and his family, Devin (Kate) Jason and their families; His Aunt Vivian Segberg (Brian) and Viv’s children Teresa (Greg), Nikki (Joe) and their families; His Aunt Pauline Mason (Keith) and their children Sheldon (Kelsey), Janelle (Kyle), Brett (Kendra) and their families; His Uncle Morley Rudolph (Karen) and their children Chris and Jaimie (Rachelle); his Aunt Corina Snell (Dave) and her daughter Jacy (Jason) and their family. Brandon is predeceased by his Grandparents Edwin Segberg, Peter and Elvena Skavlebo and Leonard Rudolph; and his Aunt Lynda Moberg. A Private Graveside Service will be held at the North Concordia Cemetery.
