Obituary of Christ Jacob Wollman

In Loving Memory of Chris J. Wollman June 23, 1951 - September 7, 2020 With heavy hearts, we sadly announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Chris (Kingy) Wollman on September 7, 2020. Chris was born in Beiseker, AB on June 23, 1951. Until the age of six Kingy lived at Sandhills Colony. In 1956 he moved to Leask Colony where he resided until his death. At Leask is where he found the love of his life, Katie Gross. They got married in 1972 and together they were blessed with raising 5 children. Kingy loved to have a good time whether it was socializing, fishing or spending time with friends and family. Kingy was a hard worker and enjoyed being involved in any job associated with colony life. Kingy's passion was with the livestock. His early years were involved working and managing the hog barns. After the Leask/Riverbend split, Chris was moved to cattle boss at Leask Colony. This was a job he kept until the sale of the cattle. Kingy was easy to get along with everyone. His table was always open to anyone. I am sure Katie has fed thousands of friends that Kingy brought home. Chris was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 61. He battled this disease while still contributing to colony life. He still drove swather and cut hay even though his health was failing. Chris was a caring and loving father and husband, adored grandfather and loved brother. Chris leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 48 years, Katie, his children and grandchildren: Chris (Bernice) - (Tyler, Vanessa, Taylor) of Leask, SK; Ken (Nicole) - (Dakota, Tristan) of Warman, SK; Karen (Guy) - (Brianne, Brooke, Danielle, Devin) of Leask, SK; Julia (Jimmy) -(Hayley, Ayden, Nevin) of Crystal Lake, SK and Brittany (Brian) of Spring Creek, AB. He also leaves behind to mourn his brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. He was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Mary Wollman, brothers Jacob and Michael Wollman and Sisters, Elizabeth Tschetter and Mary Wollman. Family and friends wishing to send online condolences are welcome to visit www.beaulacfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beau "Lac Funeral Home, Fred Pomrenk, Director, Shellbrook (306-747-2828).
