Obituary of RoseAnna Frechette

FRECHETTE - It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of RoseAnna Frechette on January 24, 2009 in Prince Albert, Sask at the age of 83 years. RoseAnna was born April 24, 1925 in Lampman Sask. In 1931, RoseAnna along with her parents Jean Baptiste and MaryAnn Boire and her brothers Alphonse, Aime and Eugene moved into the Leoville area. In 1948 RoseAnna married Gerry Frechette and raised two children, Leo and Aline. Besides being a homemaker she also worked at various businesses in Leoville as well as house painting. After the passing of her husband in 1996, RoseAnna sold her house, and moved to the Senior Housing in Leoville, where she remained. RoseAnna had many close friends that she loved to spend time with and cared for very much. RoseAnna also loved to visit and spend time or chit chat on the phone with the grandchildren. Her presence will be missed by all who knew her. RoseAnna leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Aline (Alfred) Fortier of Debden, SK and their children Dorian Fortier (Lindsay), Dominic Fortier and Darcy Fortier. Her granddaughter Dana Frechette of Regina, SK and her children Taylor, Rory and Brianne. Her brother Eugene (Barb) Boire of Red Deer, AB. Her sisters in-law Denise Poulin of Spiritwood SK, Gisele Laventure of Spiritwood, SK, Carol Frechette of Wakaw SK, Martha Boire of Saskatoon SK, Helen Boire of Vancouver, BC. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by Her husband Gerry Frechette in 1996 ,Her son Leo Frechette in 2005, Her parents MaryAnn and Jean Baptiste Boire, Her brothers Aime Boire and Alphonse Boire grandson Rory Frechette. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, January 31st, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Therese R. C. Church Leoville, SK with Rev. Fr. Bernabe Millan Sajonas as Celebrant . Eulogy was read by Alfred Fortier. Music was directed by Ed Samson ,Gilles Francouer and Denise Kuzyk was the Organist.. The Readers were Aime Laventure, Darren Boire, Lindsay Jean and Aimee Spriggs. Offerings were brought up by Dorian and Darcy Fortier. Honorary Pallbearers were her grandchildren Dorian, Dominic, Darcy and Dana as well as all relatives and friends who shared in her life. The Cross Bearer was Emil Frechette and the Urn Bearer was Dominic Fortier. RoseAnna was laid to rest in the Leoville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Donations in RoseAnna's memory may be made to the Evergreen Health Centre.
