To Kale's Family,
I am so profoundly saddened to hear of Kale's passing. He was in my Grade 5 Class at St. John's quite a few years ago. That year , I was blessed with so many students but I remember Kale! He seemed to always have a smile and always a positive greeting....maybe because he told me who he was related to and I knew his family. We had a connection! Ready to try things, to please, and then that infectious laugh or giggle...I was never sure!

My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Please know that he made the world a better place....and lifted a teacher's spirit when she needed it most. Thanks Kale!
Kale was one of the most kindest, selfless friends I’ve ever had. Camping won’t be the same without your laugh or your luxury camper van. Thinking of you and you’re family Jim.
James, I am so sorry to hear of your tremendous loss of your son and grandson. I can’t even imagine the sorrow your family is going through. It sounds like you had a very special bond with your grandson. Hold all those memories close to your heart.

Jim, Carlie and family, There are no words to express my surprise, shock and sadness at the passing of Kale and your little guy. I an so sorry! It breaks my heart. Take care of yourselves.
Kale my friend. i will miss our fishing trips and shenanigans. the memories i have of late nights at Tamarack are some of the best summers i ever had. you where one of the nicest people to ever walk the earth. always willing to help others and ask for nothing in return. i witnessed you get on your hands and knees to dig a strangers car out of a sand pit with your bare hands. you will be severely missed my friend. my sincerest condolences to your family. till we meet again brother.
