As a young child Sharon grew up on a farm near Shell Lake. It was here she met the love of her life Elmer. They were married in 1965 and began their life together. They were blessed with two daughters and 5 grandchildren. Then came the fun greatgrandchildren! All seven of them adored “Ma”.

She loved the simple things. She never needed for anything or wanted anything fancy. She adored the beauty of the smallest thing. A huge rock placed in the front yard brought so much joy to her. Her flowers were always beautiful, and a gourmet meal was always there ready for anyone who stopped by.

Elmer and Sharon were always close together, where one was the other was close behind. They were truly best friends, a bond very few ever have.

Sharon was a very community minded person. She always was right there when needed. She served on many boards and served on the Lakeland Fire Department for 21 years. She and Elmer were instrumental in producing the Paddockwood West Show for 25 years.

A huge thank you to the Lakeland Fire Department, Parkland Ambulance and Lori and staff at Beau “Lac” Funeral Home. Thanks to you all for helping us through this time.
