I met Stanley the day he walked into Herb Bassett!, I was his admitting nurse.
He never forgot my name, he called me Kaffy ! He always had a treat for me, may be part of cookie that he tried first , As I was handing out meds at HS he would keep me up on the Raiders score! He always knew when they were playing!
He always had something special to show me in his room.. Until last year there was always a little gift or card from him at Christmas!
I will miss you Stanley!

Please accept our sincere sympathy. Stanley and my dad, Walter Gunville became very close friends during my dad's time at the Herb. Stanley became a part of our family and we were able to spend a lot of quality time having coffee and "snacks" with him and my dad.. He and my dad had a shared love of Kentucky Fried Chicken with fries and gravy, a Sunday supper treat. He was a very special caring man. We have a lot of special memories of times spent with him and our dad.
