Upon receiving his journeyman ticket in 1978, Ron continued to be instrumental in the construction industry. He built many homes in and around Prince Albert, Leoville and surrounding areas.
He enjoyed his moment of fame on the HGTV show Timber Kings.

Through the years Ron enjoyed a variety of activities including soccer, golfing, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, and curling.
He loved politics!!
Of utmost importance was his dedication to his family to whom he gave unselfishly, customer job satisfaction, & his love for Jesus.
