Guy Tremblay
1933 – 2021
Surrounded by his loving family, Guy Roland Tremblay, late of Debden, SK, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at the age of 87 years.
Guy was born and raised on the family farm in Victoire, Saskatchewan. In 1957, he married the love of his life, Lucille, and together they raised their family in Debden, Saskatchewan. The beautiful cabin that Dad built at Morin Lake was where they settled in their retirement. At the time of his death he was living with his daughter, Melanie Amundson and her family, in the Debden area.
For most of his career, Guy worked as a very talented carpenter and his legacy is found in the many homes and buildings that he built and renovated. He loved sports, especially hockey and fastball, playing in his youth, coaching as his children came of age, and then supporting as a dedicated fan for his children and grandchildren. Throughout his life he kept us laughing and maintained glimpses of his sense of humour right to the end.
Guy is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lucille Tremblay; his daughter Diane (Barry) Mazurkewich and their children: Teryn (Conner) Cruson and their son Everett; Todd Mazurkewich; his daughter Juliette (Tim) Poelzer and their children: Thalia (Lee Hubbard) Bradford and sons Jackson, Garin, Breckin; Tristine (Kyle) Foss and their son Clark; Jordan (Sarah) Poelzer and their children Cooper, Joni, and Sadie; his daughter Monique (Rick Sauve) Tatum and her children Joelle, Matthew; his son Maurice (Sandee) Tremblay and their children: Marlee, Max; his daughter Melanie (Stanley) Amundson and their children: Camryn, Jett, Rhyan.
