Dearest Carrie, I am so sorry to learn of your passing. I spent last evening remembering you and all of the fun and laughter we shared in those early years. How many miles do you think we put on our parents'/boyfriends' vehicles? Cruising Main Street and countless dirt roads in the country. The stereo blasting our favourite music, all the while talking animatedly about our current events and always, always breaking out in fits of giggles. We shared so much together, didn't we? You were with me for so many of the big moments in my life. Always supportive, encouraging, sympathetic. So many of my fond memories include you.
Carrie, you had the best laugh/giggle! You were such a vivacious girl. You always had a smile on your pretty face and you made friends with anyone and everyone. You had quite a long line of guys who would have liked to have a date with you. Your zest for life attracted so many people to you. Such a big heart. I was always proud to call you friend. Your life was too short.
Carrie, wherever you are now, I hope it is Brilliant!! It is my prayer and my wish for you that you are surrounded by pure and utter brilliance. I believe that you are. And that makes me so happy. Happy for you. It's your turn to bask in the light for you shone so much of it on the people in your life.
I'm always going to think of you and remember you, sweetie, as a light in my life. I love you, Carrie.
