Obituary of Berny Haut

Lovingly remembering the life of Berny Haut On May 23/09 Bernard Otto Haut of Big River, Saskatchewan (formally of Pigeon Lake, Alberta) was called home to be with his King. Awaiting his arrival and preparing his welcome was his mother Meinhild and father Herbert. Berny was 52 years young and had faith that his Lord would carry him through the last several months. He was at peace and content when he left our home. He wished to thank, from the bottom of his heart, the Big River community for supporting him and his family through his most vulnerable time. Holding him close to their hearts are: His wife of 16 years, Donna and the legacy he was so proud of: Jason, Jeremy(Kristine),Dustin, Kassy, and Luke. Siblings Christiane, Birgit(Pete), Armin(Dorothee), Iris, Dave(Kim) and their children. Mother-in-law Hilda and father-in-law Lawrence and many "outlaws". Berny had a kind and gentle spirit. He loved his family, his horses, and his farm, but his greatest joy came from watching and sharing in his children's adventures. He was blessed with a quick wit, mischievous twinkle in his eye and an unending faith in God. Although he was not healed physically, we all watched as his spirit was healed and lifted up. A celebration of Berny's time here with us will be held Saturday May 30 at 3 p.m. at the Big River Bible Camp. If friends so desire (and in lieu of flowers) donations may be made to Big River Bible Camp or Big River Multiple 4H club. E-mail condolences may be sent to www. beaulacfuneralhome.com. Beau"Lac" Funeral Home of Big River was entrusted with the arrangements (306) 469-2277.
