Gerald was my Godfather, and his sister Joan was my Godmother. I remember visiting his family in Georgetown on Main Street with my Mom, his Aunt Gladys. He was a fascinatingly interesting man, who kept up with the changing times, and his love for his family, both local and many miles away.
