John Barry Stubbs, late of Mistawasis First Nation, SK passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 in Shellbrook, SK. with his family by his side. He was born to John and Alice (nee: Potter) Stubbs on January 2, 1945. John married Lorraine Bird. 

John is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine; his son JJ (Farral) of BC and their children, Lakeisha, Abby, Ayla, Christopher, Arrya, Leighton and Jonathon; his son Colin (Sade) of BC and their children, Emma, River, Enrique, Julianna, Jamar, Shay and Colin, his brother, Ernie (Delores) Stubbs as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Alice Stubbs and his sister Pat Hillman (Stubbs). A private family graveside will be held at a later date.
