Donald Anderson

Obituary of Donald Keith Anderson

Donald Keith Anderson was born on January 4, 1933, in Prince Albert to David Howard and Rosalind Anderson and passed away on September 19, 2021. He attended school in Prince Albert.  He liked to tell the story about how when he was in Grade 6, he dated the Grade 1 teacher.  After school Dad did a great many jobs, mostly manual labour.  He retired as Manager of ICG Liquid Gas.  Dad met Ethel Timpson and the two were married on June 11, 1955.  They just celebrated their 66th anniversary.  After retirement Mom and Dad travelled extensively in their motor home.  Unfortunately, health issues made travel impossible in the last 6 years. Dad was a man of few words, but his heart was huge.  He would help anyone any time of day or night, a fact that his neighbors can verify.  Dad and Mom have lived in the same unique house on 1st Street since they were married.  Don is survived by his wife, Ethel (nee Timpson); his children, Ronna Boran, Cheryl Anderson (Paul Clouatre) and Kelly (Janna) Anderson; his grandchildren, Jaime, Shawna, Kelsea, Brennan, Jaryn, Alyson and Connor; his great-grandchildren, Mason, Noah, Kya, Kayson, and Kohan; his niece Cindy (Tim Oleksyn); his nephew, Scott Bruce;  his niece, Erin Timpson (Rob); his brother-in-law, Gordon Timpson, his brother-in-law, Doug Bruce; his sister-in-law, Shirley Timpson; and his sister, Marian.  He was predeceased by his father, David Howard Anderson; his mother, Rosalind Fitzsimmons; his mother-in-law, Mary Henson; his father-in-law, Frank Timpson; his brother, Kenneth; his sister, Thelma; and his sister-in-law, Irene Bruce.  Due to Covid-19 no formal service will be held.  In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of Don may be made to the Prince Albert SPCA, 1125 N Industrial Dr, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 5T1.   Family and friends wishing to send online condolences are welcome to visit www.beaulacfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beau “Lac” Funeral Home, Tracy-Lynn Lenchuk, Funeral Director, Prince Albert, SK 306-763-3322.

“No grief is greater than the departure of such a kind man as him.  May his soul rest in peace”.  We love you Dad.  You were our hero in life and will remain our hero in death.
