I got to know Blaine while we were supervising interns for the College of Education at the U of S. What a gentleman! I truly appreciated his concern and care for others and the mentorship he provided for teachers-to-be. I also enjoyed his stories, humour and laughter.
Many of Blaine's teacher-interns were from SUNTEP-Prince Albert program and he also taught some U of S courses there. He was very highly respected by the students and staff.
I am saddened by his passing and I send heartfelt condolences to Blaine's family.
