Our thoughts and prayers go out to Margaret. I remember the first time meeting Fred in the store, when he started working for Wheatland Lodge. He always had a smile on his face and a cheerful greeting. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and I never saw him turn anyone down. He was greatly appreciated and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

So sorry to hear of Fred's passing. Fred & I were distant cousins and delighted in discovering the connection a number of years ago. Our hearts go out to you, Margaret - with the memory of a brief chat in Prince Albert in the early summer.

I was so very truly sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. Fred was my friend and although I hadn’t seen or talked to him lately, he was in my thoughts and I will always remember the caring compassion and kind words he had. I’m so sorry to Fred’s family and all his friends I know he had, (how could he not have numerous friends being the genuinely kind man he was?)
Fred helped my family and I bury our Dad and more recently helped me bury my daughter. I will always remember his kindness and care he had shown me during that time.
Rest In Peace Fred, I’ll miss you and will never forget.

I was hoping I had heard wrong...how could we lose Fred?
Our family was so blessed by Fred's help over the years with so many events.
Fred was so thoughtful during the times of my parents deaths and it was so appreciated by all my brothers and sister.
He was always ready at the theatre or Elks/ seniors hall to organize; set up the sound, move chairs and share the workload. He will be sorely missed. Margaret, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sending love from Murray, Ruby and the Hannigan family.
