Obituary of Ann Crossland
ANN CROSSLAND
The family of Ann Crossland is saddened to announce her passing on October 24, 2021 at the age of 75 years.
Family meant everything to Ann, especially her beloved grandchildren. Each one of them held a special place in her heart. Ann had a passion for traveling and always encouraged her kids and grandkids to see as much of the world as possible. Whether it was a campground or a Hawaiian Island, Ann was always up for the adventure.
Ann was an amazing cook and loved gathering friends and family at her house for the holidays where the turkey was always cooked to perfection. Playing cards, traveling to bingo halls, and stopping at casinos on a road trip were some of her favorite things to do. Ann was kind and generous in every way including her time. If you needed Ann, you could be guaranteed that she would be there.
She will forever be remembered by her husband Maurice of 32 years, children Sonya (Buck) Lavallee, Jodie (Wade) Aspirot, Clayton (Dana) Crossland, Stacy (Stacey Melnychuk) Crossland & Logan (Tammy) Crossland; special niece,
Teresa (Jeff) Wolfe, Special Nephew Lance Abbott; Grandchildren, Branden (Briana), Austin, Maizie, Arik, Nicolas, Asher, Jaxon, Finley, Amedee, Dallan, Blaise, Abi, Liam, Brayden; special nephews, Scott, Alex, Jeremy and special niece Zhane; siblings, Josephine Sarr, Larry Abbott, Don Abbott & Sister-in-Law Joyce Abbott, numerous extended family and wonderful friends. Ann is predeceased by her son Ryan; parents Walter and Jennie Abbott; brothers, Eben Abbott, Roland Abbott, Zeb Abbott & George Abbott; sister Alice Abbott, brother-in-law Roy Saar and nephews Blaine Abbott, Ivan & Antoine & niece Julie Thomas. Ann’s life will be celebrated on Saturday October 30, 2021, 2:00pm at the Chitek Lake Community Hall, Chitek Lake, SK with Delores Beaulac officiating. Interment will take place at Peaceful Pines Cemetery in Chitek Lake, SK. The family would like to express their deep-felt appreciation to friends and family for their love and support.
