1968 - 2021

Jacqueline Anne Sommerfeld, late of Shellbrook, SK, passed away on December 23, 2021, in Saskatoon, SK, at the age of 53 years.

Jackie was born on January 8, 1968, in Shellbrook, SK to Shirley and Armien Sommerfeld.  She took her schooling in Shellbrook and lived most of her life in the same area. Jackie worked as a corrections officer in Prince Albert for many years. She loved the outdoors, going on road trips with her motorbike, quadding, boating, and camping.

Jacqueline will be lovingly remembered by, her husband Dean Grimsrud of Shellbrook, and his daughters, Heather Grimsrud & Warren Rechlo of Lloydminister and grandchildren, Orion & Atlas; Jamie Grimsrud & Dustin Taylor of Lloydminister and grandchildren, Astrid, Nate, Gracie, Charlie, and Benny; her sisters, Debbie (Larry Bergen) of Shellbrook; Tammy (Kyle) Soderberg of Spiritwood; her brother-in-law, Victor Grimsrud; her sisters-in-law, Viola Derr; Val (Gilles) Jean of Lloydminister; her niece, Ashley & Shane Doell of Warman; her nephews, Brooks Kendal (Crystal Tremain) of Shellbrook; Drew Soderberg of Warman; numerous cousins and close relatives; her close friends, Tammy Anderson; Tanya Tait; Chad Cadieu; and all of the Trueman’s.

Jackie will also be mourned by her special parrot, “Lulu”.

Jackie is predeceased by her parents, Shirley & Armien Sommerfeld.

There will be a Graveside Service held for Jackie at a later date to be announced in 2022. In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in memory of Jackie to the Kinsmen Telemiracle (2217 C Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, SK S7L 6A8).
