Obituary of Elizabeth Klics

KLICS: Elizabeth Barbara Klics (nee Schira) was born on October 26, 1928 and passed away on August 19, 2009, she was the youngest of four children born to Sebastian and Susanna Schira of Spiritwood, SK. As a young girl she attended Resolute School, in 1945, she married Steve Klics and settled on a farm near Spiritwood where they raised their three children. In 1973, Steve passed away and she moved into Spiritwood, where she later built a new home. Elizabeth started working at the Idylwyld Lodge until she retired in April of 1989, she loved gardening and her home but most of all, her family, she loved and lived to be with them. Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her children Sidney (Cecile) Klics of Quesnel, BC and their family Coreen (Blaine) Follack and their children Justin, Tyson and Jordin, Wanda Klics and her daughter Jessica, Brenda Klics (Steve Bradford), David (Jean) Klics of Spiritwood, SK and their family Ian (Cathy) Klics of Meadow Lake, SK and their son Zane, Tammy Klics of Lloydminster, SK and her daughter Danielle, Shannon (Travis) Henri of Lashburn, SK and their children Jordan, Logan and Mackenzie, Betty Ann (Albert) Soucy of Leoville, SK and their family Carrie McNeilly (Travis Dunn) of Stony Plain, AB and her daughters Courtney and Danae, Cheri-Lee (Eddie) Lehman of Lloydminster, SK and their children Brandon, Taylor and Carson, Kelly (Carla) Soucy of Calgary, AB and their children Jayce, Kamdyn and Caybree, Kole Soucy of Saskatoon, SK, her sisters Anne Worth of Ottawa, ON, her sisters in-law Mary E. Schira of Spiritwood, SK, Mary Schira of Spiritwood, SK, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Steve Klics in 1973, her brothers Steve and John, her brother in-law Sid Worth, her parents Sebastian and Susanna Schira. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, August 24th, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. from the Sacred Heart R. C. Church, Spiritwood, SK with Rev. Fr. Francis Agbezuge as celebrant, the cross bearer was Justin Follack, the Eulogy was given by Kelly Soucy, the honorary Pallbearers were all relatives and friends who shared in Elizabeth's life, the Pallbearers were her granddaughters, Coreen Follack, Wanda Klics, Tammy Klics, Shannon Henri, Carrie McNeilly and Cheri-Lee Lehman. Elizabeth was laid to rest in the Spiritwood Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan. Beau "Lac" Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
