With heavy hearts, the family of Diane Lois Sand announce her passing on March 3, 2022, in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 68 years.
Diane was born on August 30, 1953, at Mistawasis First Nation.
The Wake Services for Diane will commence on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. from the Chief Mistawasis School Gym and the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM. on Monday, March 7, 2022. also at Chief Mistawasis First Nation School Gym, Mistawasis F.N., SK.
Interment will follow in the Our Lady of the Poor RC Cemetery, Mistawasis First Nation, SK.
Diane is lovingly remembered by: Her husband of 52 years: Antoine “Hubert” Sand; Her son: Conrad (Alice) Sand; Her daughter-in-law: Joanne Durocher; Her grandchildren: Elissia (Gavin) Wendell; Brandon, Rachelle (Joey); J.R. (Priscilla); Her chappys: Aiden, Braelyn, Bailey, Hunter, and Theodore; Her siblings: Leonard (Sandra) Bird, Elaine Head, Marilyn Lafond, Valerie Wolfe, Marilyn Sand, Debra Wolfe, Ruby (Gilbert) Dumas, and Shawna (Ralph) Worm; Her adopted sisters: Lynn (Marcel) Duquette and Linda (William) Badger; Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Diane is predeceased by, Her son: Craig Gilbert Sand; Her parents: Clifford Charles and Victoria Theresa Wolfe (nee Bear); Her siblings: Shirley Ann, Lorinda Sharon, and Reynold Wolfe; Her grandparents: Gilbert and Dora Wolfe; Henry and Delma Bear; Her brothers-in-law: Harold Head, Byron, Calvin, and Ivan Sand; and Her nephew: Clifton Wolfe; aswell as her grandson: Oliver Sand.
The officiants for the services will be, Lyndon Linklater & Doug Joseph; Honorary pallbearers will be, Linda Johnstone, Norma Jean Lafond, Lynn Duquette, Linda Watson, Katie, Michelle Cameron, Thelma Daniels, and all who knew and loved her.
The active pallbearers will be, Ivan Sand Jr., Dwayne Moostoos, Raymond Sand, Derek Sanderson, Sheldon Head Sr., Kenneth Bear.
