ANDERSON – Mr. Rodney

1947 – 2022

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Rodney Anderson on Friday, March 4, 2022, at the age of 75 years. Rodney was born on February 14, 1947, in Leoville, SK to Gertrude and Albert Anderson. Rodney resided in Big River, SK where he worked as a loader operator at DC North.

He is lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Wayne (Dana), Barry (Carol), Marge (Stan), Terry (passed away on March 6, 2022), Shirley, and Peggy (Ron). Rodney was predeceased by his parents, Albert & Gertie (Mitchell) Anderson; his brother Kenneth Anderson; his brother-in-law, Phillip Arcand; and his sister-in-law, Shirley Anderson.

There will be a Celebration of Life held for Rodney on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from the Big River Community Hall with Pastor Dave Whalley officiating. In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in memory of Rodney to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada (2300 Yonge Street, Suite 1300, Toronto, ON M4P 1E4).
