Obituary of James Warren Naber
The Naber family would like to thank each one for the messages of condolences and kind words at the passing of Jim Naber on April 13, 2022. Jim enjoyed his final Walleye fish fry for supper that evening and as he so often did after, sat down for a quick nap. We believe he closed his eyes for the last time as an 80-year-old man in a well-used body and opened them a few minutes later as a young man to the greetings of those that crossed the river in years passed. To all that knew Jim, his faith in The Lord was a reality and that gentle nature that showed so much love to everyone he bumped into was because of what God had done in his heart when he surrendered to that call as a young man. As quiet and humble as dad was, he definitely walked to the beat of his own drum. His desire to always see over the next hill lead him and his family on many adventures, some of which at the time seemed undoubtedly absurd… always with his wonderful wife Betty at his side! We are thankful for that adventurous spirit and glad he passed on the fierce independence that made him a wonderful husband, father, and friend. Once again, from the hearts of Jim’s wife Betty, their seven children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, thank you to each one for showing your love. God bless you all.
Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife Betty and his children Tim (Dorothy) Naber and their children Levi (Naomi) and son Jonah; Josh (Kristen) and their children Ava, Wyatt and Wesley; Matthew; Savanna.
