Valorie DeLaittre

Valorie Jeanette Delaittre passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2022, surrounded by her family at the age of 72 years. Val was born on February 19, 1950, in Swan Plain, SK.  She grew up and went to school in Norquay, SK. Val married the love of her life, Jerry DeLaittre and they lived in Pilot Butte, SK., where they raised their 3 children, Jason, Vanessa, and Chad.

Once the kids were grown, they moved to Shellbrook, SK., where Val continued to work in the healthcare field. She had many hobbies such as her love of carving, sewing, painting, and her much-loved hobby of gardening. During her time in Shellbrook, she made many great friends and truly loved the community.

A Celebration of Life will be held in August, the exact date will be posted at a later date.

In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in memory of Val to the SPCA (Box 1832 Prince Albert, SK. S6V 6J9).
