It is with profound sadness that the family of Gregory James Ahenakew, beloved husband of Freda  passed away on May 14, 2022, in Ahtahkakoop First Nation, SK. He was born May 25, 1953 to Cecil and Dorothy Ahenakew of Ahtahkakoop First Nation. Wake service will commence Sunday May 15, 2022. Funeral will be held at 1:00 PM. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Both services will be held at Ahenakew Family Home, Ahtahkakoop First Nation, SK. Interment will follow in the North End Burial Grounds, Ahtahkakoop First Nation, SK. Gregory will be lovingly remebered by His loving wife: Freda Ahenakew:His children and grandchildren:Trisha Berg of Jasper, AB and children:Stella and Elijah :Michael (Vanessa) Campbell of Prince Albert, SK and children Elizabeth and Nevaeh.
