Judy and i were childhood buddies. Although we only lived a mile apart we went to different schools until High School. We used to ride our bikes to meet at our " Halfway point" for after school visits when Judy could get away from her responsibilities for a half hour or so. We also used to spend a lot of time on the phone when we couldn't get together. Judy being the eldest daughter of a family that eventually numbered nine shouldered a lot of household and childcare duties in her growing up years. This was always done cheerfully..complaining was not her game. Nevertheless her understanding mother would ensure she had time off so we could go biking looking for trouble outside later riding horses. We were two kids who loved the outdoors. I went to university in Winnipeg, Judy went to Saskatoon. We only saw each other occasionally after that as happens when life intervenes. Judy was an outstanding friend with the soul of an angel, love of nature and laughter. Rest in peace my friend.

Judy & I graduated together in Wadena High School in 1965 & there have only been a handful of opportunities to spend time with her since that time but time & geographic distance will not blunt my memories of Judy. I loved being in her company. She was a kind gentle friend with a beautiful smile. Sincere condolences to Judy's loved ones.
