William " Bill" McConnell

March 6, 1925 - July 17, 2022

William "Bill" Thomas McConnell late of Edam, SK, and formerly of Glaslyn, SK passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Edam, SK at the age of 97 years.  Funeral Service was held on Monday July 25, 2022,  2:00pm at the Glaslyn Community Hall with Rev. Kun Kim officiating.  Interment followed in the Glaslyn Cemetery.

His parents Sara and Edward McConnell; his wife Joyce McConnell; his son David Granrude;

All his siblings:  George, Ellen, Bella, Ed, Bert, Howard, Roland; his in-laws Einar and Isabella Braaten.

Words can not express the feelings in our hearts.  We thank you for sharing in Bill’s celebration of life.  Thank you to all the family and friends for their condolences through calls, texts, and emails.  A special thank you to Drs. P Campbell and A Behnami, and all the Lady Minto staff in Edam for their wonderful care.  Thank you to the Catholic Ladies group for serving and cleaning up at the celebration luncheon.  To Tyler Mann of Saskatchewan Goose Company Lodge, thanks for accommodating us. Your thoughts and words of sympathy are greatly appreciated.
