Obituary of David Ernest Altenberg

It is with very heavy hearts we share the sudden passing of Dave Altenberg on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the age of 61.  He was a loving son, baby brother, special father and grandfather, uncle, and devoted husband.

Dave leaves behind his loving wife Peggy-Lee LaVallee; his mother, Delphine Altenberg; Dave’s daughters: Alison Adam and her children Djemailj, Ferdi, Izabella, Jakub and Musa; Natashia (Damien) Garrett and their children Jeremiah, Jermaine and Ciara; and Christina Altenberg and her two-week old twins Zalia and Zion; Peggy-Lee’s daughter Veronica Stewart and her family; his brother Douglas (Charlene) Altenberg and their daughters Jennifer and her daughter Lennie Rose, and Ashley (Travis) and their children Carter and Brody; his brother Darryl (Dianne) Altenberg and their son Curtis (Cecily) and their children Preslee (Gabe) and their daughter Hannah, Donna, Ethan, and Samara; Jason’s daughter (Dave’s great-niece) Nerea Altenberg; and their son Shawn (Dave’s special nephew); his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Floyd and Gerry LaVallee; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carole and André and family; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jamie and Suzanne and family; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Debbie and Joe and family; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and extended families.

Dave was predeceased by his father, Donald Altenberg; his nephew, Jason Altenberg; and Peggy-Lee’s daughter, Nichole LaVallee.

A Private Family Visitation will be held.  Public Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. on Friday September 2, 2022 at Beau “Lac” Funeral Home, 300B - 300 Marquis Road West, Prince Albert, SK.  We ask that you respect the family’s special time.

There will be no Funeral Service per Dave’s request.
