Obituary of Kenneth Richard Anthony Daniels
Kenneth “Ken” Richard Anthony Daniels, 78, of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on September 16, 2022, surrounded by family after a valiant battle with cancer.
Ken was born on October 27, 1943 to John “Jack” and Magdalena Daniels in Cudworth, SK. Ken is survived by his wife Jennie; his oldest son Johnny (Kim) Daniels and their children (Justin, Jamie, Ryan (Lindsay)); his daughter Lynne (Miles) Bergen and their children (Hannah, Aidan); his sister Linda (Roy) McDougall and their children and grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends that will miss him dearly.
Ken was predeceased by his son Raymond Robert, his parents John and Magdalena, his brother Gerald, his brothers-in-law Harold Molzan and Bill Schaaf, his grandfather Wilfred George, as well as many uncles and aunts.
Ken was a larger-than-life character; a man of many jokes and stories with an infectious laugh, and always had a smile on his face. Ken was a huge Roughrider fan and wore his Rider Pride always. Ken was a truck driver, a refuse company owner, taxi driver, commissionaire, and a custodian but his work was always centered around his family. Ken’s family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He often mentioned his family and their successes and was very proud of those he loved.
Ken’s family will be having a small private ceremony.
The family would like to invite any who knew and loved Ken to come to the Log Cabin at the PA Exhibition Grounds on Friday, September 23 from 3 to 5 pm to help the family celebrate Ken’s life. This is a come and go event so please stop by.
