Obituary of Funeral Notice for the Late Adele Hundt

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 from the Medstead Community Hall at 3:00 p.m.. Memorial donations in memory of Adele may be made to Spiritwood Health Complex Fund or charity of the Donars choice. Adele Hundt 1922-2009. The family of Adele Hundt announces her peaceful passing at Spiritwood Health Complex on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the age of 87. Adele and her family came to Canada in 1931 from Germany. They settled in the Guyhirne district. Adele married Erwin in 1941 and after several moves in the area they settled down on the farm west of Cater. Adele always had a splendid garden with vegetables and flowers in profusion and won several local awards for her efforts. She retired in 1987 and started gardening and quilting full time. She was a member of the Medstead Lutheran Ladies for many years giving generously of her time. She also enjoyed bowling, playing cards, quilting and visiting with friends. She was totally dedicated to giving 100% of her love to her family. Adele leaves to mourn her passing: Children Betty (Willy) Silverfox, Frank (Lora), Raymond (Norma), Randy (Donna): Linda &Art Jones. Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Anne & Bill Kohut; Otto & Mamie Hundt; Ron Hunt; Ron Robertson; 8 grandchildren,10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Erwin, sister Erika, brothers Art & Horst (in infancy), and grandson Shayne Silverfox. Sister-in-laws Betty, Linda, Elly, brother-in-laws Bud and Henry. Funeral service for Adele Hundt was held Saturday, December 5th at 3:00 p.m. in the Medstead Community Hall. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Spiritwood Health Complex or the Donor's choice. Arrangements were in the care of Beau "Lac" Funeral Home.
